Whinfoss Kesanlehvisto at Lapinruska JW

Lehvi is the result of an extremely lucky partnership with Andrew and Kerry from Whinfoss kennels. Having lost our puppies twice with Kinta, I couldn’t give up my dream of a Ruska-line x Obelix kid. When Andrew mentioned he was considering another litter from Inki, Kinta’s half-sister, I reached out to see if he’d be interested in my last unit of semen from Obelix. 

To my delight, he said yes, and after a lot of anxious waiting, three bitches and a dog were born. 

8 weeks later, Lehvi came home, great-great-granddaughter of Ruska, and an absolute firecracker. 

Unlike Kinta, she’s showing promise as a future sports dog, with plenty of drive. 

She’s blown me completely away with her success in the show ring, with multiple Best Puppy in Breeds, Puppy Group Placings, Reserve Best of Breeds, and Best of Breeds, all before 18 months old. This culminated in her achieving her Junior Warrant, something I have long dreamed of being able to do!

We’re extremely excited about the future with Lehvi – even if she is a very trying teenager right now!
